WestBridge provided a safe, comfortable, supportive environment in the early days of our son's sobriety. He felt like he was on vacation. I think he meant physically, because of the comfortable living quarters and excellent meals, but mentally he was working very hard.

Who We Treat

In our residential program, we treat men 18 years of age and older. In our outpatient programs in Manchester NH and Medford MA, we treat men and women 18 years and older. WestBridge works well with families who have a loved one with mental illness and substance use disorders that are willing to be involved in their care.

WestBridge treats individuals who experience mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders, such as:

  •   Severe thought disorders (i.e. schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder) and co-occurring substance use disorders
  •   Mood disorders and co-occurring substance use disorders
  •   Major depression and co-occurring substance use disorders
  •   Anxiety disorders and co-occurring substance use disorders
  •   Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and co-occurring substance use disorders

WestBridge also treats:

  •   People who want to be involved in treatment that has been proven to work
  •   People who are ambivalent about treatment
  •   People who are ambivalent about having mental illness and substance use disorder
  •   Individuals who want to build on their strengths and live in the community
  •   Families that want to relinquish the role of crisis responder and regain the role of family member
