Residential Counselor in our adult, male residential program in Brooksville, FL. We are seeking an individual who thrives in a team-based work setting and who seeks a job requiring creativity, professionalism, communication and initiative. This position (as all staff who work at WestBridge South do) works alternating weekends and the shift varies between 1st and 2nd shift (7:30 am– 3:30pm & 2:30pm – 10:30pm).

Requirements:

Overnight Awake Residential Counselor (30 hour)

WestBridge Community Services has one part time (30 hours) openings for Awake Overnight Residential Counselor on our tobacco-free and drug-free campus in Brooksville, FL. We are seeking individuals who thrive in a team-based work setting and who seek a job requiring organization, cleaning, creativity, and professionalism. Our overnight staff provide supervision and monitoring, as well maintain nightly cleaning duties, which ensure a safe-homelike environment for our participants. These staff work three 10-hour shifts, from 10 pm to 8 am. This position will work Sunday, Monday and Tuesday overnight shifts.

Requirements:
High School Degree and experience in related field (Social Work, Mental Health, Counseling) with experience working with individuals and families who experience co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders; Ability and enjoyment of cleaning. Ability to work a flexible schedule (10 PM to 8 AM) which includes Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. Must have valid drivers lic. & transportation. Candidate must be comfortable leading groups, co-facilitating groups and in working with men. Must have valid driver’s license & reliable transportation. Part-time Mentor/Outreach Counselors (Brooksville, FL)

Mentors act as part of the larger WestBridge Assertive Community Treatment team. The purpose of this position is to assist clients in making healthy and supportive community connections which will support sobriety, wellness, and overall health.
As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, the Outreach Counselor ("Mentor") provides active and ongoing community-based outreach and support to individuals who experience severe and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders in the surrounding Brooksville and Spring Hill, FL area. The Mentor performs a wide range of one-on-one support activities including but not limited to:

Support the Participant in maintaining a healthy environment

Communicate with treatment team nightly after each shift by email and attend regular supervision with WestBridge Staff

Assist in identifying community education needs

Build awareness of mental illness, recovery, and substance use disorders

Work schedule will vary to include weeknights and weekend nights.

Provide ongoing assessment of mental status and consults with WestBridge staff

Provide the participant access to their medications and monitor the Participants' self administration of medications

Assist in building support and relationships in the community

Develop strong and healthy contacts in the community, including area Peer Support Centers

Maintains compliance with local, state and federal regulations

Represent WestBridge Community Services in a healthy and positive manner

Portray a positive role-model in all aspects of care and interactions.

Generally, Mentors work any night of the week from 6 pm to 10 pm. Must be available to work two weekends per month. Flexibility to also work daytime hours is desired. 100% of the Mentor time is spent in the community with a participant/client. Mentors work a maximum of 20 hours per week. Mentors need to have their own cell phone, reliable transportation with 100,000/300,000/100,000 vehicle insurance, and the ability to send a brief email after each shift.

Substance Abuse Counselor / Care Manager (Medford, MA)

Westbridge Community Services is currently conducting a search for a full time Substance Abuse Social Worker for our unique private, mental health treatment team based in Medford MA. This is an outstanding opportunity for a team oriented, skilled clinician to join a dynamic, dedicated and energetic team! The team provides Integrated Dual Disorders Treatment (IDDT) based on a modified Assertive Community Treatment team model. They provide evidence-based treatments including outreach, vocational rehab, CBT, and family therapies to individuals who experience mental illness and substance use disorders. This team sets the standard of outstanding care for its clientele, which consists primarily of high functioning young adults earnestly striving to manage school, work, and their associated demands while living with dual diagnosis.

The ideal candidate would have strong substance abuse treatment knowledge skills, along with a background in social work or mental health counseling, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT/PACT model) and treatment for co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders . Mentor shifts are generally in the evenings from 6p to 10p, however some flexibility for daytime hours would be helpful to our team as well. Mentors need to have their own cell phone, reliable transportation with 100,000 bodily injury per person / 300,000 bodily injury per accident / 100,000 property damage for auto insurance coverage, and ability to send a brief email after each shift.The ideal candidate will be familiar with treatment relating to individuals experiencing substance abuse and mental health related diagnoses.
