Residential Treatment

“… Another thing that stands out is the residence at the Commons … it’s spotless, very organized, yet comfortable and big enough so each resident has some space. We’ve had brunch there several times and the food is outstanding…The program itself is very different from anything we’ve dealt with  … WestBridge is comprehensive and thorough in its treatment of patients …

WestBridge Opened The Commons in 2005

A renovated historic home in the heart of downtown Manchester, NH, redesigned to create a welcoming space for treatment and recovery.

Our residential program is a safe, home-like environment that provides support and evaluation for adults who are experiencing challenges in managing symptoms related to their mental illness with or without substance use.

The residence is a modified therapeutic community, a treatment model where collaboration and community are integral to the recovery process, and where peers are encouraged to develop relationships and provide feedback and support in an individual’s recovery.

The residential program is staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, to provide support, treatment intervention, and monitoring. The average length of stay is three months, however this is determined on an individualized basis as not all our participants’ needs are the same.

As one makes progress, they are supported in becoming increasingly involved in community activities, including work and school.

When ready to transition from our residence, whether establishing roots in Manchester to participate in our Community Integration Program or Intensive Outpatient Program, back home or to another community, we will assist in the development of a transition plan, individualized to one’s needs and goals.
